Title : RRT – NICU / PICU
Location : Baltimore, MD
Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : Night, 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 – 07 : 30)
Job responsibilities and all required and preferred skills and requirements
Provide respiratory therapy care in NICU, PICU, Pediatrics, and Critical Care units.Manage ventilators, perform airway management, intubation / extubation, suctioning, and tracheostomy care.Administer medications (e.g., Albuterol, Atrovent, Nitric Oxide, Pulmicort, Xopenex, etc.).Perform arterial blood gas sampling and interpretation.Assist in high-risk deliveries, neonatal / pediatric intubations, and transports.Work with advanced equipment including Maquet Servo i, Draeger V500, Jet Ventilation, Oscillation, and Nitric Oxide delivery systems.Care for patients with conditions such as ARDS, aspiration, bronchoscopy needs, COVID, cystic fibrosis, ECMO, pneumonia, BPD, RSV, respiratory distress syndrome, and TTN.Patient ratio : 1 : 12 (Days, Nights, Weekends).Weekend coverage every other weekend; float required.Teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma experience preferred.Requirements :
Minimum 2 years of experience.Certifications : RRT, BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and state license.Preferred experience with Epic charting, trauma levels I & II, and NICU / PICU critical care.About HonorVet Technologies
