Payroll & Human Resources Specialist

We offer an excellent opportunity for those interested in partnering with a team of professionals committed to providing exceptional client service. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the firm’s semi-monthly payroll operations while providing administrative support to the Human Resources department.  Primary responsibilities include; payroll processing, maintaining payroll records, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, preparing and reconciling reports, handling employee inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality and partnering with Human Resources on other duties as assigned.   Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 : 30 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m.

We seek a team oriented, dedicated professional with superior client service skills, exceptional multitasking and organizational skills. Candidates must possess a positive attitude, the ability to manage time effectively, a strong work ethic, and excellent attention to detail, discretion, and communication skills.  Ideal candidates will have 3 or more years of work experience, preferably in a professional services or law firm environment, ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS platform experience is required along with a strong knowledge of payroll laws, reporting and compliance.  Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Human Resources or related field preferred.
