• MUST HAVE LEVEL 1 TRAUMA EXP
• 50 mile radius rule, DL is source of truth, please include with submission, no local ratesMedical Solutions Pre-Screens, if clinical recommends, sends to manager for approval to offer, manager may call for 2nd interivewmust pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance, traveler has 2 attempts., if failed, will be DNU with CS AZ and Sac Region for 6 months

• must have natural hair color and no facial piercings
• men must clean shave for fit test
• pass fail exam on day 1 of orientation - details to followDAY 1 PASS / FAIL EXAMAll RNs will be expected to complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changes, with the exception of NyICU & ED. NyICU only has to do Foley catheter insertion. ED does Foley catheter insertion but does port-a-cath insertion instead of central line dressing change. This is for travelers going to St. Joseph main campus & / or St. Joseph Westgate campus. NOTE - SIMs lab is pass / fail & nurses have been termed during SIMs Lab for breaking sterile field. Those travelers that understand sterile field typically pass SIMs Lab skills (See separate notes for the specific checklist IF traveler asks for additional details). The hospital expects that every nurse is competent in these areas, especially maintaining sterile field, as these are nursing skills that are performed frequently. NOTE : if a candidate indicates that they are not competent in either of these areas, they are probably not a good fit. In addition to SIMs Lab, they will also go through lifts, restraints, & wound care, but these are just educational based since the equipment & policies can be different facility to facility.

• ICU experience is required - Unit : Cardiac Pre and Post- Certs : BLS, ACLS - Ratios : 1 : 2- EMR : Cerner- Charge Nurse : Yes- Weekend Requirement : No- Holidays : No- Scrub Color : Provided by the hospital (Blue)- Tele : Phillips- RT 24 / 7 : Yes- Pharmacy 24 / 7 : Yes- Shifts : 3x12s, no block scheduling allowed- Floating : None- Floor specific orientation : 2 days on the floor.- Common diagnosis / Types of patients : Cardiac Cath Lab Recovery / GA and Conscius sedation Cancellation can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments that are less than 13 weeks Charting BSN License to , willing to wait Trauma Level : 1 Care Shift shift 12 hours , no call, no weekend no holiday Required , BLS Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Contract Weeks : 91
