Cusdial Worker - On Call

The City of Portland, Parks, Recreation & Facilities Department is seeking a Custodial Worker. The Custodial Worker performs basic custodial duties and routine interior maintenance and routine exterior maintenance as necessary.

Requirements :

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects over an extended period of time.
• Working knowledge of building cleaning practices, supplies and equipment.
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Valid Class C drivers license with good driving record.

Schedule includes nights and weekends. Applications accepted until November 14, 2025. Offers of employment are contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory criminal background check.

Starting Hourly Rate : $18.00 / hour.
