Extra Board Bartender

The Extra Board Bartender is responsible for providing superior guest service to casino patrons. Duties include mixing and serving drinks, ensures bar area is clean and presentable at all times. Keeps accurate records of inventory while accepting and exchanging money for payment. Also performs Barback duties as needed. Performs additional job duties as assigned by the department manager.

Starting wage is $17.03/hr + tips increasing to $17.61/hr + tips at successful completion of 90-day orientation period.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required
• Bartending school (recommended)

Experience & Requirements:

• One year experience bartending is required
• Must have knowledge in all cocktails, beers, wines and non-alcoholic beverages
• Must have good communication skills
• Must have working knowledge of computers and POS systems
• Must have good guest service and cash handling skills
• Must have a valid Washington State food handler's card
• Must have good manual and finger dexterity

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours
• Mobility to climb stairs on a routine basis
• Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidays

All applicants must obtain a Class III B license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions. However, the use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant unless the position requires driving a company vehicle.
