American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience, BLS and ARRT(R)(CT) certifications, and strong expertise with Siemens and GE scanners for a fast-paced emergency department weekend night shift.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in a hospital-based emergency department CT unitHandles routine ED patients, Code Stroke, and some trauma casesPatient population includes infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatricsExpected daily caseload ranges from 150-200 scans across 4 roomsTypical weekend staffing includes 2 technologists per shiftShift schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights from 19 : 45 to 08 : 15No call or float requirementsProcedures include abdomen, pelvis, head / neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstructionUses Siemens Force, S3000, Sequoia, and GE scannersEMR system is Epic, with Visage for imagingPosition is very fast-paced and requires flexibility to handle high volumes of emergency and trauma casesRoyal blue scrubs requiredNo weekend RTO or RTO during the first week of the assignment is permittedCandidates must be available for the full orientation schedule; missing any part may result in delayed or canceled startMust work 2 out of 3 major holidays if assignment covers holiday periodsRehire policies apply to those with previous employment in the system; must disclose past employment for considerationLocal candidates are accepted with adjusted pay rates for those living within 50 milesWeekend shifts only; 13 week contracts available with the option for 36 hours per week\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 2 years CT Technologist experience requiredCurrent BLS and ARRT(R)(CT) certifications requiredExperience with both GE and Siemens scanners mandatory; Siemens Force experience requiredProficient in inpatient, emergency room, and adult ICU CT imagingFamiliarity with Epic and Visage systems preferredLicense required if applicableFirst-time travelers accepted\n Benefits\n
