We are seeking talented, caring, and compassionate caregivers to work with us in providing exceptional in-home care to people of all ages. We serve the communities of Howard and Anne Arundel Counties, Laurel, Bowie and Catonsville.
Job Description :
We are looking for certified caregivers, ready to provide quality in-home care, but also to develop an enriching meaningful relationship with our clients. Your role as a certified caregiver helps them to live life to their fullest. This position allows for a full scope of interaction with the client in their home including assistance with their activities of daily living, maintaining their home environment, and keeping them engaged with the outside world.
Seeking Caregivers who :
- Retain a current Maryland state Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
 - Possibly have other valid credentials such as : GNA, HHA, PCA, MT
 - Are reliable, dependable, honest, and caring
 - Possess effective communication skills
 - Have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and up to date auto insurance
 - Are able to recognize and report changes in their clients care needs
 - Possess a current CPR / First Aid certification
 
Major Responsibilities :
Assisting the agency's clients with their personal care and ADL's in accordance with the care plan and CNA qualificationsMay be required to take clients to appointment or run errandsMust complete 12 hours of company provided training per yearKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Required :
Experience as a caregiver in a home care setting or skilled facilityPerform duties with minimal supervision, accepting personal responsibility for maintaining a professional relationship with the clientMust meet hiring criteria as defined in the agency's minimum standardsMust accept responsibility for maintaining skills and learning on an on-going basis, as well as honoring agency policiesMust pass all background screenings with satisfactory resultsOther Requirements and Qualifications :
Able to work an average of 20-40 hours per weekAble to lift 20-50 poundsAble to bend, climb, stoop, and stand an average of 5 hours per dayAble to use tools necessary for jobCaregivers are not allowed to smoke in clients homesBenefits :
