Senior Proposal Coordinator

Description : What You'll Do As a key member of the Proposal Team, the Senior Proposal Coordinator will support the end-to-end proposal development process for federal government opportunities. Reporting to the Director of Proposals, you will assist in organizing, coordinating, and producing proposal responses, ensuring timely submission of high-quality, compliant, and competitive proposals. You will work closely with proposal managers, business development leaders, technical SMEs, and partners to support the development of compelling proposals and sources sought responses. Your ability to stay organized, manage competing priorities, and communicate effectively are essential in this role. Your Responsibilities

• Proposal Coordination : Assist with proposal development, ensuring compliance with RFP requirements, adherence to schedules, and proper document formatting.
• Content Management : Maintain and update proposal templates, key personnel / team resumes, past performance databases, and reusable content to support efficiency and consistency.
• Team Collaboration : Support communication and coordination between proposal managers, BD teams, pricing, and technical staff.
• Writing & Editing Support : Assist with drafting, formatting, and reviewing non-technical proposal sections to ensure clarity, compliance, and persuasiveness.
• Document Management : Organize and track proposal files, manage version control, and ensure proper document submission and archiving.
• Review & Compliance Checks : Support Pink, Red, and gold reviews, helping identify and address compliance gaps and improve overall proposal quality.
• Process Improvement : Assist in refining proposal workflows, checklists, and best practices to enhance efficiency.
• Meeting & Schedule Coordination : Help manage proposal schedules, deadlines, and team review meetings to keep projects on track. • Familiarity with federal procurement processes, including FAR / DFARS compliance.
• Experience collaborating with BD teams and capture managers to proposal development and submission.
• Knowledge of GovWin, SAM.gov, and other government procurement tools.
• Experience working in the A / E / C or government contracting industry Required Qualifications
• 3 years of experience in federal proposal coordination or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Ability to read and interpret RFPs, sources sought notices, and compliance requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in proofreading and editing.
• Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative, manage tasks independently, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications (InDesign preferred) for document formatting.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing independent responsibilities.
