Unit Specifics : Number of Beds : 9 L&D, 3 swing rooms, 2 ORs & 3 bed OBED

Patient Ratios : 1-2

Unit staffing description : Unit Secretary and scrub tech, dedicated CRNA & midwife in-house 24 / 7, OBGYN on call

Type of equipment : Not specified

Documentation system : CPN and Meditech

Scheduling requirements : 4 weekend shifts / month

Floating policy : can float to m / b or outside department to task

Patient Experience requirements : Remain above 75%

Job Requirements

Must have : Drive to provide highest quality of care to our laboring patients. Ability to support patient choice and promote vaginal birth opportunities specific to patient preference.

Advanced skills needed : Spinning babies helpful, STABLE also helpful

Certifications Required : RN, ACLS, BLS, NRP, Fetal monitoring

Awards / Recognition : HCA Unit of Distinction 2021, TIPQC Pilot hospital for NTSV and Team Birth
