Treasury Analyst

Blackstone Multi-Asset Investing (BXMA) manages approximately $88 billion across a diversified set of businesses, including an Absolute Return portfolio solutions business, a Multi-Strategy Platform, an open-ended mutual fund platform, an emerging manager seeding business and a total portfolio management solution. BXMA invests across a variety of asset classes and strategies for its investors. Through its sharp focus on clients' goals, a rigorous due-diligence process and access to Blackstone's global insights, BXMA strives to generate attractive risk-adjusted returns across market cycles while mitigating downside risk during stressed market environments.

The Treasury team is responsible for Portfolio & Fund Financing, Cash Management & Investing, and managing Broker Relations across BXMA.

BXMA Treasury is looking to add an Analyst to the team. To be successful in the role, a candidate should have a blend of technical skills (e.g. optimize margin, identify cash investing opportunities, building dashboards and broader analytical tools) as well as qualitative traits (e.g. managing internal and external relationships, project management, and cross-team collaboration). The individual would be expected to assume the following responsibilities :

  • Monitor and ensure adequate liquidity across the BXMA platform, including cross-asset transactions where necessary
  • Leverage data and technology to optimize allocation of cash, across collateral requirements and excess re-investment opportunities
  • Manage bank relationships to identify emergent economic opportunities and technologies which can improve our business
  • Identify and execute market opportunities to add incremental returns for investors
  • Develop skills across full range of Treasury disciplines, including liquid financing trading, structured financing, and counterparty relationship management
  • Enhance data, reporting, and workflow tools to monitor key performance measures across Treasury responsibilities
  • Maintain oversight of collateral and margin daily processes across asset classes

Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. In addition to strong analytical and quantitative skills, the successful candidate should have :

  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant work experience. Relevant Treasury or Treasury-related business experience or knowledge of Cash & Collateral Management, Liquidity Management, Prime Brokerage, or Stock Loan a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and experience with SQL and / or Python
  • Exceptional work ethic, entrepreneurial spirit, intellectual curiosity, and desire to continually expand their understanding to further develop professionally
  • Collaborative workplace approach that fosters strong working relationships both amongst internal colleagues and external counterparts
  • A high degree of professional integrity

    Expected annual base salary range : $110,000 - $125,000. Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables. Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
