Job descriptionHigh School Diploma or GED. Experience in assembly and reading shop drawings / prints. Familiarity with hand and power tools. Basic math and measuring skills. Strong organizational and communication abilities. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Lift, carry, push, and move up to 40 lbs; walk / stand across production areas. Typical production environment : willing to work additional hours as needed. The Assembler is primarily responsible for sub-assembling smaller parts. This includes reviewing the work order for material availability.
Essential Job Responsibilities not limited to :
- Locate job and compare with picking sheet
- Review picking sheet for special instructions
- Review drawings for part assembly
- Gather materials to assemble parts
- Assemble parts
- Inspect parts for final assembly
- Sign off on production and picking sheet
