Job Description

Support the Project Manager with day-to-day coordination of construction activities. Assist in preconstruction tasks including estimating, subcontractor solicitation, and scheduling. Manage RFIs, submittals, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate with field teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery. Help monitor project budgets, schedules, and safety compliance. Participate in project meetings and prepare required reports and updates.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Project Manager should have :

  • At least 2 years of experience with a commercial GC, ideally in light industrial projects
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, terminology, and documents
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, or similar)
  • Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Team-oriented with a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn
