About The Position

Job Title : Respiratory Therapist

Profession : Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics

Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (18 : 30 - 07 : 00); Day 3x12-Hour (07 : 00 - 19 : 00)

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : 2 years of experience in Trauma, ER, and Adult ICU required.

License : State License required

Certifications : BLS, RRT or CRT; ACLS preferred

Must-Have :

• Trauma, ER and Adult ICU experience
• Familiarity with Puritan Bennett, Draeger, Servo I, Evita XL, and Viasys equipment
• Strong critical care skills

Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist.

The therapist will provide respiratory services which include ventilator management, high flow therapy, BiPAP, aerosol treatments, and chest physical therapy.

The role requires handling emergency situations in a critical care environment.

Clinical duties will include the interpretation of arterial blood gases and managing tracheostomy care.

The therapist will also be expected to assist with troubleshooting high pressure alarms and weaning from mechanical ventilation.

Experience in adult critical care is essential.

Documentation will be done using the Cerner charting system.

Weekend and holiday availability is required on an every other weekend basis.

Candidates must have a valid state license and meet certification requirements.
