Job Description
M. Braun, Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Lead Inspector / Warehouse Technician to join our growing team. This hybrid role combines warehouse operations with quality inspection responsibilities to ensure the accuracy, compliance, and readiness of all materials and assemblies.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Control & Inspection
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Candidate should have a high level of GDT Inspection experience and verification. CMM / Vision system experience recommended.
- Candidate should be comfortable performing complex inspections and providing explanation as required to end customer or customer representative on-site.
- Verification of Supplier FAI results. Secondary inspections of critical characteristic to correlate with the supplier documentation.
- Inspection of complex fabricated and machined parts using measuring equipment including, but not limited to calipers, profilometers, durometers, helium leak detecting equipment; and documenting the results.
- Creating and processing nonconformance reports to the extent as directed by the Quality Manager.
- Compiling technical documentation and material certification for government orders (or other orders as required).
- Assisting the Quality Manager in all areas of the Quality Management System.
- Compliance with ISO9001 and NQA-1 procedures and operating instructions.
- General Glovebox / Purifier pre-assembly.
- Any other duties required for the position.
Warehouse Operations
Receive, unload, and verify accuracy of incoming shipmentsProcess inventory transactions in ERP system (Navision)Pull, stage, and organize materials to support production and assemblyPerform cycle counts, spot checks, and maintain accurate stock levelsPackage, stage, and prepare system shipments for deliveryOperate forklifts and material handling equipment (training provided if needed)Drive company vehicles for material pickup and delivery (DOT certification or ability to obtain required)Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety standardsJob Requirements
The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. This person must be able to stay focused and be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out written and oral instructions.
Job requirements include, but are not limited to :
Experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidateDOT certification or ability to obtain DOT certificationAbility to drive company vehicles, cargo van, box truck, etc.Ability to use hand and power tools (experience preferred)Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for documentation and communicationAbility to lift 50lbs on a regular basisFork truck experience a plus, but not required (must be willing to learn)Must be able to follow all safety and personnel rules and regulationsCompliance with ISO 9001 standards and proceduresQualifications
High school diploma or equivalent requiredExperience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or quality control preferred (will train the right candidate)Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to read technical documents, specifications, and BOMsProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; ERP software experience a plusValid driver's license; ability to obtain DOT certification requiredForklift experience a plus (training provided)Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and work on feet throughout the dayStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teamsPhysical and Mental Requirements
Physical Requirement : Balancing; climbing; bending; stooping; crawling; some light, moderate, heavy lifting and carrying; must have fine motor skills; be able to grasp small items; kneeling; pushing; reaching above shoulder; pulling hand over hand; ability to do a repetitive motion; and the ability to stand and walk for most of the day. Mobility requirement enough to move around the warehouse and production areas safely. The ability to wear and use a respirator for certain tasks as required.Visual Requirement : Must be able to visually read documents, and read from a computer screenHearing Requirement : Must be able to hear and speak on the phone and in person to convey information.
