Job descriptionMinimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in configuration management or a closely related field Foundational knowledge of CM principles, practices, and standards Familiarity with military and commercial CM specifications, including ANSI / EIA-649, ASME Y14, MIL-STD-31000, and MIL-STD-961 Understanding of ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality management system requirements Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Effective time management with a proven ability to meet deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Experience with configuration management tools such as PLM databases Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Clear and professional communication skills Associate degree in engineering or a related field required; bachelor's degree preferred Equivalent professional experience in configuration management or a related discipline may be considered

Overview
Job Title : Configuration Analyst
Location : Cambridge, MA - Onsite
Type : Full Time
Responsibilities
- Support the development, documentation, and maintenance of configuration management (CM) processes and procedures in accordance with industry standards and company policies
- Participate in Configuration Control Board (CCB) and Design Review Board (DRB) meetings, providing CM expertise and input
- Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and program management teams to ensure CM processes align with program goals
- Generate and distribute CM reports and metrics to provide visibility into the status of configuration items and change objects
- Assist senior CM personnel in preparing and conducting configuration audits and reviews
- Resolve configuration-related issues and discrepancies in a timely and effective manner
- Support the release process by verifying the accuracy and completeness of change documentation
- Contribute to monthly updates and deliveries of revised work products
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend actionable solutions
