Light Duty Driver NIGHT SHIFT

Light Duty Tow Driver $1500 Sign on Bonus in State and $2500 Sign on Bonus Out of State.

NIGHT SHIFT - This is a full-time primary position which may include long hours. Must be flexible.

Guardian Fleet Services is looking for a new team member to join our growing family. The Light Duty Tow Truck Driver will be driving a commercial towing and recovery vehicle with a GVWR rating of less than 25999 lbs. and must possess a valid drivers license relative to the vehicle being operated and towed combination.

Essential Duties :

• Reliable strong customer service and professional demeanor
• Ability to drive and perform duties via interstate for towing recovery and / or transport
• Must be able to work Days / Nights Weekends and On call shifts.
• Ability to communicate and work closely with Dispatch
• Ability to perform vehicle inspection sheet daily identifying any mechanical issues
• Ability to follow all safety requirements and DOT rules and regulations
• Report all mechanical issues with regard to trucks and trailers at the time of discovery.
• Ability to work with softwareand computer programs i.e. SamsaraGPS and Tow book a plus
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

Job requires lifting crawling pulling constant use of hands significant bending and reaching climbing. Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts working outdoors in the environment can be exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat or other weather conditions. Lifting over 50lbs is a job requirement must not have any lifting restrictions.
