Energy Consultant - $20/hour + Commission

Clae Goldman Team is seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Energy Consultant to join our team. Our mission is to protect customers from rising energy costs, offer discounts, and promote green energy. As an Energy Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on energy solutions, helping customers make informed decisions, and promoting our community solar and third-party energy solutions. Responsibilities

• Go door-to-door in assigned neighborhoods speaking directly with homeowners
• Educate customers on our energy savings and community solar programs
• Answer questions about eligibility, benefits, and enrollment steps
• Qualify prospects and complete enrollments in person
• Accurately collect and submit customer information using our CRM system
• Follow up when needed to finalize enrollments
• Provide a positive, professional customer experience in the field
• Attend team trainings and performance meetings
• Work toward daily and weekly enrollment goals

Qualifications

1. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Environmental Science, Engineering, or Energy Management) is preferred.
2. Experience: Previous experience in energy consulting, environmental science, or a related field is beneficial.
3. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
4. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess energy needs and develop effective solutions.
5. Passion for Sustainability: A genuine interest in promoting green energy and sustainability initiatives.

Compensation

$60,000 - $120,000 (Annually)
