Assembly Technician
We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to support complex production and warehouse tasks. This role involves picking, packing, assembly, and inventory control, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to quality standards.
Responsibilities
Train and mentor team members on standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and equipment use.
Perform quality checks and troubleshoot issues to ensure product accuracy and compliance with specifications.
Operate and maintain warehouse systems for inventory tracking, order fulfillment, and reporting.
Coordinate with supervisors and cross-functional teams to meet production goals and resolve material or workflow issues.
Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure adherence to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory practices and assist with cycle counts and audits.
Promote and uphold a safe work environment through regular safety checks and participation in training.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in assembly and mechanical tasks using hand and power tools.
Experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or warehouse environment (2+ years preferred).
Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Sphere WMS, LXE).
Strong understanding of inventory control, shipping / receiving, and production workflows.
Ability to lead by example and communicate effectively.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications preferred.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.50 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
