RN - Med Surg Acute Care - Registered Nurse

Experience :

• 12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required from last 3 years.

Block booking and Schedule patterns are based on department needs.

Guaranteed Hours 36

Shift or schedule requirements : 7a-7p & 7p-7a, every third weekend (day shift Sat / Sun, night shift Fri / Sat), and holiday rotation.

Travel RNs are first to float to other departments as needed

18 bed unit

Gen med level of care – patient ratio is 4-5 : 1 (days) and 5-6 : 1 (nights)

Required skills and minimum years of experience : Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment. 1yr+ of hospital experience preferred.

RN assumes responsibility for providing direct patient care and documentation in the EMR as required.

Dress Code : Any color scrubs is fine, no pediatric scrubs please.
