The NYU Langone Health's Department of Surgery under the NYU Grossman School of Medicine, part of NYU Langone Health, is seeking a dynamic, full-time, entry level / mid-level attending in the Division of General Surgery to join a busy practice at the premier tertiary academic medical center. The position is located on the east side of Manhattan in the heart of New York City The successful candidate will possess excellent clinical skills. Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Surgery and have strong robotic surgery skills, which is essential.

• Faculty appointment in an academic setting at one of the top Medical Schools in the United States and one of the top General Surgery residency programs;
• Practice in foregut surgery, hernia and abdominal wall surgery, and bread-and-butter general surgery. This does not include Bariatric surgery.

Qualifications

Qualified applicants must demonstrate a commitment to service, a track record of achievement in their field of expertise, and an interest in fulfilling the common goals of the Department of Surgery at NYU Langone Health. Qualified candidates must also :

Recent Graduates considered.

Current NYS Medical License.

Current Board Certification or Board Eligibility (American Board of Surgery) in General Surgery.

Strong robotic surgery skillset is essential.
