About The Position
Alabama - Locum Tenens – Emergency Medicine Physician
Rhino Medical is leading the charge in identifying Emergency Medicine Physicians available for ongoing locum tenens coverage in Alabama beginning in November / December. This assignment will go through May 2023 with the possibility of extending beyond then.
We are seeking providers available for day and night shift coverage scheduled 6 : 00 – 6 : 00 for ongoing locum tenens assignments. Our top-rated facilities are well-equipped with a robust multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers and support staff to best serve our patients. In order to continue to provide the best care possible, we need additional Urgent Care Locums available to keep our program performing at its best!

- Annual Patient Volume : 52k
- Patients per Hour : 3.6 average
- ED Bed Count : 36
- Shift Times / Coverage Details : 6am - 3pm | 11am - 8pm | 3pm - 12pm | 8pm - 6am
- APP Hours of Coverage : 6a - 6p | 12p - 10p | 6p - 4a
- Scribe Coverage : None
- EMR : Cerner
- Admitting Orders : Sometimes, if not going to HM or Residency – not expected to be detailed orders
- Codes : EM responds to codes
- Trauma Center Designation : None
Provider Requirements :
