Travel Nursing Job Details

Assignment Type : Travel RN

Location : Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158 (Wisconsin nursing jobs)

Start Date : December 8, 2025

End Date : March 9, 2026

Duration : 13-week contract

Shift : Nights, 4x12-hour shifts / week (19 : 00 - 07 : 00)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1940-$1990

Unit : Med / Surg Telemetry (Second Floor)

Patient Population : Adults and Geriatrics

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Charting System : Epic EMR

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active WI or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license required

Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg Telemetry RN experience

Current BLS and NIHSS certifications (must be in hand before interview)

Proficient in interpreting and signing off on telemetry strips

Previous travel nursing experience required

Experience with Epic charting system preferred

Must provide 2 supervisor references from the past year (including one from most recent / current assignment)

Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions accepted); COVID-19 vaccine not required

Must not have a latex allergy (facility cannot accommodate)

Med / Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a busy Med / Surg Telemetry unit

Monitor, interpret, and document telemetry rhythms; manage dysrhythmias as needed

Administer blood products, oxygen, and medications; start and maintain IVs

Implement isolation precautions and infection control protocols

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, PT, RT, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams

Participate in rapid response / code teams as needed

Provide patient and family education and support

Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR
