US Licensed Vice President of Legal

A company is looking for a Vice President of Legal to lead its global legal function during its growth phase.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as chief legal advisor to the executive team and Board on legal, regulatory, and governance matters

Establish and scale the legal function, including hiring and managing outside counsel and building an internal team

Design and implement global legal frameworks to ensure compliance and efficiency across jurisdictions

Required Qualifications

15+ years of legal experience, including time at a top law firm and in-house at a growth-stage SaaS or technology company

Experience leading the legal function during a scale-up's hyper growth phase

Hands-on experience with IPO readiness and managing complex legal challenges in a hyper-growth environment

Deep expertise in SaaS commercial contracting and negotiation with large enterprise customers

Licensed to practice law in the United States or an EU jurisdiction
