American Sign Language - DSP (Direct Support Professional)

GBC is seeking to hire individuals who have experience with American Sign Language (ASL) and are interested in becoming a DSP. GBC supports individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing who have Intellectual Disabilities.

Whether it is assisting them with their daily activities in their everyday life, administering necessary medications, or helping them with housekeeping... what you choose to do every day makes a valuable difference to our clients.

In this position you will be required to use ASL to assist clients with communication, daily tasks to include personal care, shopping, transport clients to attend activities and appointments, update logs, write reports, and more. If you have what it takes to enhance our client’s lives then we most certainly want to talk to you. You must own a vehicle, have an active driver's license and maintain active car insurance for this position.
