JOB SUMMARY : FLSA : Exempt Non-Exempt Volunteer
The Clinician II serves in a professional counseling capacity to deliver behavioral health services on behalf of the agency for the clients that are enrolled, while integrating evidence-based and best practices and strategies associated with neuroscience, trauma informed care, dual generation practices and resiliency, while ensuring that services provided are in alignment with the Social Determinants of Health through a trauma informed care lens as defined by the agency. The Clinician II carries a full clinical caseload with the appropriate case mix of shorter and longer term cases, accompanied by regular supervision. Counseling program services are provided in the client’s home, office and / or in various community-based locations.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS :
1. Reports to :
Manager or other supervisor as assigned
2. Directs :
May supervise master’s level counseling, guidance and counseling, marriage and family therapy, or social work practicum students. May be assigned as a field instructor,
community presenter, and / or agency committee member with responsibilities
3. Other :
Works cooperatively with all staff to accomplish the mission, goals, objectives and performance measures of the program and agency.
