Job Description
Responsible for overall facilities operation for multiple locations, maintenance, repair and construction projects relating to the physical plant, grounds and support equipment across multiple Kaleida Health Hospitals and various off-site facilities.
Prepares, monitors and coordinates the budgets related spending for these facilities both operating and capital. Maintains compliance with the Environment of Care requirements for JCAHO, DNV, NYSDOH and Federal regulatory agencies.
Has overall responsibility for Plant, Environmental Services, Dietary, and Patient Transport Departments as well as hospital linen.

Minimum or Preferred Qualifications
A BS / AAS degree in engineering and a minimum of 5 years' experience in the management of plant operations in a health care setting or;
10 years' experience in management of plant operations in a health care setting. Bachelor's degree in mechanical Engineer / Architect preferred.
Must have a minimum of 10 years' experience and strong working knowledge of building HVAC equipment and systems, plumbing and electrical distribution systems as well as building automation, fire protection systems and piped medical gas systems.
City of Buffalo Chief Stationary Engineer license. Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, local and CMS accrediting agency standards such as JCAHO and DNV as they apply to health care facilities.
Must have a current NY State driver license. Chief Stationary Engineers License City of Buffalo required. Must be proficient in the use of computers and software needed to perform job which includes MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and various web-based applications.
Salary Range
$95,503-$149,366 annually *Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.*
