Job description

A 160-bed acute-care community hospital serving the Lower Naugatuck Valley and surrounding towns of southern Connecticut is adding a Cardiologist. It has grown into a respected healthcare institution that emphasizes patient-centered care through the Planetree model, designing its facilities and services around the needs of patients and their families. With a broad range of services, from state-of-the-art minimally invasive surgery and joint replacement to a dedicated cancer care center, the hospital continually strives to blend advanced treatment options with a nurturing, healing environment .

About the Opportunity :

  • Join our team of 3 Cardiologists and 2 APRNs
  • Call rotation of 1 in 6 (Weekends hospital EKG +ECG reading rotations as assigned
  • A 160-bed acute care community hospital with more than 300 medical providers
  • Echo board certification required

Compensation and Benefits :

  • Base salary plus incentive compensation based on productivity and quality measures
  • Benefits include medical, vision, dental (including orthodontia), 401k with employer match, and CME allowance.
  • Generous paid time off includes vacation, holidays, sick time, and CME.

  • Located minutes from the Connecticut seacoast, 30 miles from Hartford, and 75 miles from New York City
