Overview

Managing Editor IEEE Climate. IEEE is the world’s largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity. IEEE Climate is an all-electronic archival magazine. The Managing Editor leads the launch and daily operations, develops short- and long-term content goals, and implements marketing strategies to strengthen Climate’s competitiveness. The role also supports the long-term financial health of the journal through achievement of usage, citation, and revenue-generation goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the launch and ongoing daily operations of IEEE Climate, including editorial direction and content development.
• Develop and implement short- and long-term content goals and marketing strategies.
• Guide content selection to align with IEEE’s mission and vision at the intersection of technology and climate change.
• Publish content related to climate change, including discussions of public policy and economic impact as relevant to IEEE fields of interest.
• Support the financial health of the journal through achievement of usage, citations, and revenue-generation goals.
