Responsibilities Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit caring for a culturally diverse, high-risk OB population RNs are required to circulate for cesarean sections Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week, 18 : 00-06 : 30 Every other weekend required Floating may be required within the hospital and to nearby affiliate facilities Work with Epic EMR system; previous experience required Expect to float to sister facilities as needed; refusal may result in termination of assignment RNs must wear solid color scrubs, typically Royal Blue or Navy Free parking is provided during orientation, with assignment parking information given thereafter Pre-employment and annual modules required, averaging 16 hours prior to start Requested time off must be declared prior to contract; minimal RTO is preferred All major holidays require coverage, with the expectation to work at least two Support resources and communication devices will be provided as needed Requirements Active CA RN license required at the time of application Minimum of 1 year recent Labor & Delivery RN experience required Certifications required : ACLS, BLS, and NRP Recent Epic EMR experience required Must provide a minimum of 2 supervisory references from the past three years in a comparable setting Applicants must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year First-time travelers are accepted Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are accepted but may be subject to local pay policies Returning perm staff must have at least a 3-month gap before applying as a traveler Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-632107.
