Job descriptionConfirm that quantities, descriptions, and assemblies of received materials match ERP system. Generates Non-Conforming Material Notices and communicates all necessary information via emails, or face-to-face interactions to appropriate personnel. Enter data to track part history, inefficiencies, defect rates into appropriate file. Verify products are properly identified throughout the Production Departments, to include all RMAs, NCRs, Raw Materials, WIP, Finished Assemblies, and any other products requiring identification. Perform within requirements of the Quality Management System. Assist in generating monthly reports necessary to track part / product history and defect rates. Maintain good housekeeping practices and perform duties in a safe and efficient manner. Assist in equipment calibration and recall. Responsible for aiding in all incoming and outgoing RMAs and process (i.e. : Able to analyze RMA product and assist in the recommendation and documentation of best ways to bring product to compliant status) . Perform any other activities / tasks as assigned by Supervisor / Manager.
Main Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Performs in-process and final verifications per specifications
- Approves incoming materials per specifications, conducts visual and measurable verifications, documents nonconforming materials.
- Verify components, subassemblies, and assemblies per the specified requirements.
Work with Production Leaders for feedback from production personnel regarding accuracy of procedures.
