Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school-based opportunity is available for three speech-language professionals to support early childhood and elementary students in Peyton, CO. These contract positions span the next school year and are suited for individuals passionate about pediatric speech therapy within an educational setting.

Position Details :

  • Total openings : 3

1 Pre-Kindergarten

  • 2 Elementary level
  • Contract duration : Full school year
  • Candidates with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
  • Clinician Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
  • Licensed SLPA applicants considered for two of the positions
  • School experienced with contract professionals, providing a supportive environment
  • Key Qualifications :

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification or SLPA licensure where applicable
  • Specialized interest and experience in pediatric speech-language therapy
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and families
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, individualized communication support
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Responsibilities :

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and therapy sessions tailored to student needs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques accordingly
  • Participate in team meetings and communicate with families as needed
  • Maintain accurate records as required by school policies and regulatory bodies
