Job descriptionDemonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served. This includes knowledge of the physical and psychological needs of patients served, and the ability to respond appropriately to those needs. Provides personal hygiene (including oral) and attends to comfort needs according to patient's specific needs and requests. Performs venipuncture, utilizing aseptic technique and according to established protocol, to obtain blood specimens in accordance with physician orders. Admission / Discharge / Transfer Unit Support Activities Education : High School Diploma or GED required Experience : Minimum of six months of previous healthcare experience required or completion of one nursing clinical rotation or successful completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course.
