The Hired Guns are seeking an Influencer Marketing Manager to stand up the strategy and end-to-end operations of all influencer marketing campaigns for a hyper-growth D2C e-commerce company. They’ve got an amazing product folks never knew they needed, but are about to discover they can’t live without, and we’ll let you in on a secret: it’s tailor-made for the influencer ecosystem!

Fueled by a dynamic founder and a world-class leadership team, they’re committed to 2x growth year-on-year, and they’ve been in enough rodeos to know that influencers are going to be a potent driver of that expansion. They just need you, a highly creative and charismatic relationship builder, to come on board as their first Influencer Marketing Manager.

You’ll build a deep and diverse network of influencers, managing the budget, creative assets, and communications, and coordinating with the rest of the growth marketing team to get maximum impact for each influencer campaign. You’ll research target audiences, identify prospective influencers, lead partnership negotiations, and work with the personalities to develop content ideas and branding opportunities. You’ll hatch new and creative approaches to campaigns and keep abreast of emerging trends, tech, and talent.

How you’ll know if you’re a fit…

You could be the ideal Influencer Marketing Manager if you have at least 2 years of experience doing deals and running influencer campaigns with proven success, bundled with at least another 2 years of experience in other aspects of marketing or social media. You’ve worked for D2C brands with strong influencer programs or for an agency that does influencer partnerships. You’ve developed a Rolodex teeming with personalities from many different spheres, and you’ve honed your deal-making prowess and financial acumen to a fine edge. You’re a magnetic personality in your own right with impressive communication skills, a flair for relationships, and a slightly offbeat way of looking at things.
