z / OS Mainframe Systems Programmer

A company is looking for a z / OS Mainframe Systems Programmer to provide full lifecycle support for mainframe infrastructure in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide day-to-day systems programming support for z / OS and related IBM and third-party products

Install, configure, and upgrade IBM z / OS components and support enterprise servers across multiple processor generations

Perform system performance monitoring and tuning, and execute Disaster Recovery exercises while maintaining compliance

Required Qualifications :

Strong expertise with Sysplex, Coupling Facility, JES2, SMP / E, TCP / IP, VTAM, RACF, CICS, and USS

Proven ability in performance tuning and troubleshooting complex system issues

Experience working with IBM mainframe hardware from z13 to z17

Proficiency in COBOL, Assembler, and REXX for utilities and automation

Familiarity with hybrid environments and knowledge of modern DevOps practices in mainframe operations
