RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity : RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details :

Work 4x12 hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM

48 guaranteed hours per week

Weekend hours as needed with standard expectation of every other full weekend (Saturday and Sunday)

Float requirements as needed / customary upon request

Patient ratios typically 4-6 : 1

Care for 50% Medical / 50% Tele adults only

2+ years of Telemetry experience required

Required certifications : NIHSS, BLS, ACLS

Work with standard nursing equipment on Telemetry unit

Use EPIC electronic medical record system

Dress code requires black scrubs

Must be a team player with superior communication skills and focus on positive patient outcomes

Contract duration 13-26 weeks with up to 5 days requested time off per 13-week period

Expected to work at least one major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day)

Perform direct patient care activities including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation

Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments
