Junior Risk Analyst - P&C Insurance

JOB TITLE : Junior Risk Analyst

JOB LOCATION : Providence, RI (Open to full Remote)

WAGE RANGE : $33-36 / hr.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE :

Minimum of 5 years experience in insurance, surety, or risk management (desired)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

Motivated self-starter with logical, practical, and creative problem-solving skills

Strong analytical and research skills

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and accept constructive feedback

Understanding of multiple lines of property and casualty insurance (a plus)

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Rhode Island Insurance Producer license (a plus)

Associates or Bachelors degree (preferred)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Role : Risk Analyst I

Level : Junior

Technical Skills & Responsibilities :

This position assists in the daily administration of insurance, surety, claims (excluding workers compensation), and general risk management activities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

Issuance of certificates of insurance and surety bonds

Accrual reviews and billing reconciliations

Management and administration of risk databases, schedules, third-party software, and systems

Risk to Project / Exit Strategy :

Potential pathway to full-time employment
