You will also use a computer system to track and label products while keeping your work area clean and organized. Essential Job Functions : + Set Up & Pack - Prepare the packing machine with the correct settings and ensure bags, sacks, or boxes are filled and sealed properly.+ Weigh & Label - Check that all products have the correct weight and label information before stacking.+ Tote & Super Sack Handling - Assemble, fill, sample, and transport large totes or super sacks, ensuring they meet weight and labeling requirements.+ Quality & Sampling - Collect product samples, inspect magnets for contamination, and deliver samples to the lab for testing.+ Cleaning & Maintenance - Clean equipment such as bins, conveyors, packers, and dumpers, and complete required documentation.+ Computer System Operation - Use the control panel and jet printers to enter the correct product information.+ Housekeeping & Safety - Follow daily cleaning checklists, keep the work area tidy, and comply with all safety, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and company policies.+ Bulk Trailer Prep - Assist with cleaning, preparing, and loading bulk trailers for shipment.+ Other Duties - Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or Plant Manager. Education & Experience : + High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.+ 1-3 months of related experience in manufacturing, warehouse work, or food / feed production is helpful. Specific Skills : + Basic Math - Comfortable adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing, as well as working with fractions, decimals, and percentages.+ Reading & Writing - Able to read simple instructions, complete basic paperwork, and communicate effectively with team members.+ Problem-Solving - Ability to follow detailed instructions and troubleshoot minor issues.
