Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to established procedures. Assist with enforcing company policies regarding access control and visitor management within the food and beverage environment. Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment appropriate for the location. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. A valid security-related guard card or license is preferred, subject to state and / or local laws and regulations. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Security Professional - Food Manufacturer
As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your presence and professionalism will contribute to a positive atmosphere, as you interact with staff and visitors while providing outstanding customer service. You will utilize technology to support your duties and respond to situations with care and integrity, embodying our values of teamwork, reliability, and innovation. Mon 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM
Fri 06 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM
Sat 06 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM
Sun 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM
What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
