Location : El Paso, TX 79902 (Texas nursing jobs)

Facility : Rehabilitation Hospital – 31 beds, single floor

Contract Length : 13 weeks (Start : 9 / 15 / 2025 – End : 12 / 15 / 2025)

Shift : 12-hour nights (6 : 45 PM – 7 : 15 AM)

Hours per Week : 36

Weekend Requirement : 4 weekends per schedule

On-Site Nursing Job

Compensation

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1050 - $1120

Med / Surg LPN Qualifications

Active LPN or LVN license (Licensed Practical Nurse jobs in Texas)

Current BLS certification

Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg or rehabilitation nursing experience

Proficient in wound care, patient transfers, and rehabilitation therapy

Experience with Meditech and CareTools EMR systems preferred

Strong organizational, teamwork, and clinical support skills

Ability to comply with dress code (galaxy blue or royal blue scrubs)

LPN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to rehabilitation patients

Perform wound care, incision dressings, Foley catheter placement, and blood transfusions

Assist with respiratory therapy (trach suction, breathing treatments)

Operate hoyers, wheelchairs, walkers, and medication carts

Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team (nurses, therapists)

Ensure patient safety and comfort during transfers and daily activities

Follow hospital policies and procedures, including scheduled lunch breaks
