Key Job Details – ER RN Travel Assignment Location : Urbana, Illinois 61801 Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Healthcare Setting : Emergency Department Start Date : December 1, 2025 End Date : February 28, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Shift Schedule : MIDS : 1 : 00 PM – 1 : 00 AM (12-hour shifts) Call Requirement : 2 call shifts per 6-week period (13-hour call shifts; onsite within 1 hour if called in) Night Rotation : 2-week nights rotation required (3x12 hour shifts) Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,980 - $2,030 Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience in an Emergency Room or Emergency Department Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Active Illinois RN license in good standing BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association) Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills ER RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department, following nursing best practices and healthcare protocols Implement emergency care procedures and nursing theories Conduct initial patient assessments and develop individualized care plans with providers, patients, and families Modify care plans based on ongoing evaluation and patient needs Maintain accurate documentation of nursing care and clinical interventions Promote patient and staff safety by identifying and addressing safety hazards Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, patients, and families Provide feedback to peers and participate in professional development and ongoing learning Fulfill departmental competencies and support a positive healthcare environment Apply now to join our Emergency Room nursing team in Urbana, Illinois, and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
