Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Registered Nurse located in Wake Forest, NC. The Registered Nurse will provide patient care in a pediatric setting, including performing routine clinical tasks, administering medications, documenting medical records, and coordinating with providers. Additional responsibilities include patient and family education on health topics, triaging phone calls, and supporting lab or diagnostic tests as needed. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for pediatric patients.

Qualifications

• Clinical nursing skills, including administering medications, performing routine assessments, and documenting patient records accurately.
• Proficiency in patient triage, family education, and communication with patients, families, and providers to ensure clarity and support.
• Ability to support diagnostic testing processes and maintain compliance with healthcare protocols.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle a fast-paced pediatric environment.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or the ability to obtain certification prior to employment.
• Previous experience in pediatrics or family practice is a plus.
