You will supervise and coordinate department activities, ensuring efficient operations and maintaining high technical and clinical standards. This position plays a critical role in quality improvement initiatives, staff recruitment, training, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations and clinical activities of the Echocardiology / Cardiology Department, working closely with management teams

Develop, implement, and monitor quality improvement (QI) programs

Recruit, orient, and train new staff; maintain personnel records, schedules, competency testing, and performance evaluations

Provide expert technical guidance regarding echocardiographic equipment and procedures

Perform echocardiographic exams in accordance with professional and institutional standards

Collaborate across departments to ensure patient-centered care and operational efficiency

Compensation

Base Salary : $106,900 $168,800 (California market, full-time position)

Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby / on-call pay, overtime, premium pay, or bonus opportunities depending on role specifics.
