We’re looking for a reliable and service-oriented IT Support Technician to join our team.
This hands-on role involves supporting the organization’s technology needs, maintaining hardware, and helping users with everyday tech issues.
The ideal candidate will have basic technical knowledge, good communication skills, and a strong focus on customer service.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide daily support for laptops, mobile devices, and accessories, helping resolve hardware and software issues.
Assist with basic troubleshooting for computers, software, and network connections.
Help set up and maintain conference room technology, including AV equipment and displays.
Support user accounts and access permissions in systems like Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and others.
Offer guidance and support for Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, etc.).
Monitor systems and report performance issues or outages.
Help install and maintain company software and tools.
Assist with basic cybersecurity tasks like antivirus updates and software patches.
Keep clear records of technical procedures and solutions.
Take part in IT-related projects such as upgrades or new software rollouts.
Provide training and support to users on common IT tools and best practices.
Deliver friendly and helpful customer service to all team members.
Qualifications :
Associate degree or equivalent experience in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
Familiarity with Windows and macOS systems and basic troubleshooting.
Experience with Microsoft 365 and basic user account management.
Understanding of basic networking (DNS, DHCP, IP addresses, Wi-Fi).
Experience using ticketing systems (e.g., Jira) is a plus.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with non-technical users.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills :
Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., PowerShell or Bash).
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are a plus.
