Southern Shade Tree Co. is seeing a detail-oriented and strategic Purchasing Manager to oversee the procurement of materials, supplies, and services for our landscaping company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in purchasing, vendor management, and cost control- with a solid understanding of landscaping materials, tools, and equipment- as well as a clear grasp of supply chain processes from sourcing to delivery.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchasing Manager, based in Fort Mill, SC. The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating purchasing activities, developing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely procurement of materials. Day-to-day tasks include negotiating contracts, evaluating suppliers, tracking inventory levels, and maintaining accurate records of purchases. The Purchasing Manager will work directly with the CEO, CFO and President to ensure alignment of procurement decisions with company-wide strategic and financial objectives.
