NICU RN Job Details Location : Shiloh, Illinois (62269) – Greater St. Louis area Healthcare Setting : Level II NICU / Special Care Nursery Position Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Contract Start Date : December 15, 2025 Contract End Date : March 16, 2026 Assignment Duration : 13 weeks Shift Schedule : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (18 : 45 - 07 : 15) Weekly Hours : 36 Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Average Daily Census : 3 neonates Number of Beds : 6 Scrubs Provided Estimated Weekly Salary : $1770-$1890 per week Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois (required at time of application) Minimum 2 years of recent Level II NICU nursing experience Special Care Nursery experience required Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification Proficient in ventilator management and IV starts Ability to float between Memorial Belleville and Memorial East / Shiloh hospitals as needed References preferred at time of submittal EPIC charting experience preferred Must reside outside a 75-mile radius from the facility NICU RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to Level II neonates (30 weeks gestation and above) requiring specialized clinical support Provide care to well newborns at delivery and during transition Manage ventilators and initiate IV therapy as needed Collaborate with in-house neonatologists, pediatric hospitalists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams (Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy) Float to affiliate hospitals within the service line as required Participate in weekend coverage every other weekend Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC electronic health records (if applicable) Apply now to join our dedicated NICU nursing team in Shiloh, Illinois, and make a difference in neonatal healthcare!
