Specialty Requested : Psychiatrist Qualifications : Licensed in CT - Clean DEA â€" BC Facility Type : Inpatient Reason for Coverage Need : Vacancy Start Date : 10 / 1 / 2022 Length Of Assignment : 1 / 31 / 2023 Minimum Length Accepted : 3 months Schedule : 830am-430pm M-F. Short call system : Doctors are asked to do a short call approximately once per week. The “early doctor†relieves the overnight moonlighter and therefore must be on campus by 8am. The “late doctor†stays until 5pm or when the moonlighter arrives. The “late doctor†is responsible for processing up to one admission arriving on campus prior to 4pm. Case Load : The caseload is generally limited to 12 patients (with rare exceptions in unusual circumstances) Responsibility : Psychiatrist is responsible for developing the treatment plan, to include psychopharmacologic and non-psychopharmacologic interventions and estimated length of stay.
