Maintenance Technician

Gpac is working with a well-established, family-owned  food manufacturing company seeking a 1st Shift   Maintenance Technician  to join its production team. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically inclined professional who enjoys troubleshooting, problem-solving, and keeping operations running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

Position :  Maintenance Technician  Shift :  6 : 00 AM – 4 : 00–6 : 00 PM during the school year, with weekend repair time as needed (average 45–55 hours / week at 1.5x overtime). Summer schedule averages 30–35 hours / week.

Pay Range :  $25– $35 per hour + overtime

What You’ll Do :

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on processing and packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain pumps, conveyors, slicers, boilers, and refrigeration systems.
• Work with PLCs, VFDs, and automated control systems.
• Support continuous improvement and food safety initiatives across the facility.
• Read and interpret schematics, P&IDs, and electrical drawings.
