Nephrology physician job in Indiana : Locums Nephrologist Bloomington, IndianaCall-Only | Long-Term Need | Starting 12 / 22 / 2025 Assignment Details

Start Date : December 22, 2025
Duration : Ongoing into 2026
Schedule : 24-hour in-house call shifts
Looking for coverage 12 weeks per month
Call Response Time : Within 30 minutes
Call Only no clinic
Trauma Level : III Clinical Responsibilities

Daily multidisciplinary rounding with hospitalist and ICU team

Patient Census : 2035 total patients

New Consults : 23 per day

Dialysis Unit : 4-bed inpatient unit

ED Call Coverage Included

EMR : Cerner

Provider Communication : Backline app

Strong hospital support :

Interventional radiology

Vascular access team

Highly capable nursing staff

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nephrology

Fellowship in Nephrology Required

Certifications Required :

BLS

Ideal Candidate

Experienced nephrologist seeking low-volume, meaningful call work

Comfortable with ED consults and hospital-based dialysis

Team-oriented and communicative
