Physiatrist - Board Certified / Board Eligible

Unique opportunity for a Board Certified / Board Eligible physiatrist to join a dynamic group consisting of an established 18‑physician single‑specialty physiatry practice in Tampa Bay. The practice serves the surrounding areas of Brandon, Largo, St. Pete, Springhill, Lutz, and Bradenton.

Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated physiatrist with a passion for musculoskeletal medicine, electrodiagnosis, and general rehabilitation. The role involves inpatient, outpatient, acute‑care hospital consultations, SNF, and LTAC work. A pediatric physiatrist would be welcomed to treat both adults and pediatrics.

Work week : Monday‑Friday with rotating weekend and night call coverage. Night call does not require a return to the hospital. The appointment includes a volunteer clinical faculty position within the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine PMR program.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive physiatry evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients across a range of rehabilitation settings.
• Conduct electrodiagnostic studies and interpret results to guide patient care.
• Coordinate inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation care, including working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Attend acute‑care hospital consultations, Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF), and Long‑Term Acute Care (LTAC) units as needed.
• Participate in call coverage as required, including weekend and night shifts.
• Engage in academic activities and serve as a clinical faculty member at the USF PMR program.
