Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with active ARRT and Arizona licensure to provide advanced imaging services on weekend day shifts.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a hospital-based diagnostic imaging department specializing in MRI
  • Perform general MRI and MRA procedures to support optimal patient flow
  • Utilize PACS and RIS systems for image management and documentation
  • Schedule consists of three 13-hour shifts : Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 7 : 00 AM to 8 : 00 PM
  • Role includes performing both MRI and MRA studies as needed
  • Facility is located in a rural area with diverse and culturally rich surroundings
  • Housing may be available but is not guaranteed; housing application must be submitted two weeks prior to start
  • Orientation provided every two weeks
  • COVID-19 and flu vaccine exemptions may be considered with completion of facility exemption form

  • Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology
  • Current Arizona State License in Radiology and MRI required if applicable
  • Active ARRT certification in Radiology RT(R) and MRI (MR)
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Minimum of 3 years experience performing MRI procedures
  • Experience working with PACS / RIS systems and general computer programs
  • Fingerprinting required prior to start
